Football Recap: Herrin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Herrin extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They were outmatched by the Breese Central Cougars and fell 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Cougars are ranked 76th).

As for Breese Central, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Leading Breese Central to victory were Kameron Biggs and Owen Kehrer. Biggs rushed for 109 yards and a pair of TDs, while Kehrer threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. Those 109 rushing yards gave Biggs a new career-high.

As of now, neither Herrin nor Breese Central have any future games scheduled.
