Ascent Classical Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They blew past the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans 3-0. The Guardians were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Spartans, so the Guardians were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-17.

Ascent Classical Academy's offense was headlined by Keirian Barnett and Madeline McCarthy, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Ayla Cowdrey and her 14 assists. McCarthy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ascent Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-7.

Ascent Classical Academy has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Liberty Tree Academy on the 25th. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 26th.
