Volleyball Recap: Christian Heritage Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Community Christian

Christian Heritage faced Community Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Crusaders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Community Christian was led to victory by Rachel Maynes and Emma Rogers. Maynes had three digs and three aces, while Rogers had seven digs and one assist.

Christian Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Community Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Christian Heritage will head out to face off against Crossings Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Community Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Inola on the 5th.
