Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the West Rutland Golden Horde 64-37. The Cosmos haven't had much luck with the Golden Horde recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for West Rutland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will host Otter Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Rutland, they will challenge Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
