Softball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coleman can now relate to. They came up short against the Manawa Wolves on Thursday, falling 10-2. The Cougars were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Wolves' pitchers proved too tough.

The loss snapped Coleman's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10 record. As for Manawa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

Coleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manawa, they will take on Bonduel on Tuesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
