Basketball Recap: North Idaho Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Belle Jordan and Chelsey Cate

North Idaho Christian suffered their closest loss since January 20, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Christian Center by a score of 46-44. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Christian Center earlier this season, when they won 51-16.

North Idaho Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chelsey Cate, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards, and Belle Jordan, who posted 17 points. That was a full 38.6% of North Idaho Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kenna Brotherton was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.
