Soccer Recap: Royse City Comes Up Short

Royse City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Forney Jackrabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jackrabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in January.

Royse City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Forney, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royse City will square off against Longview at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Royse City is facing Longview at the right time seeing as Longview is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Forney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockwall-Heath at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Forney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
