Basketball Recap: Moline Takes a Loss

Moline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Macomb Bombers. The Maroons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Moline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Macomb, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

Moline will square off against Hamilton/Warsaw at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton/Warsaw will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Moline surely won't give up without a fight. Macomb has already played their next matchup (against Mendon Unity), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
