Volleyball Recap: Curtis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Curtis was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Sumner on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings came up short against the Emerald Ridge Jaguars on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered against the Jaguars since November 23, 2019.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-15.

Curtis' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Emerald Ridge, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Curtis will challenge rival Bonney Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Emerald Ridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
