Meanwhile, Swampscott lost to Melrose on the road by a 20-6 margin last Friday.

Swampscott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gloucester, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Gloucester suffered a grim 27-6 defeat to Swampscott when the teams last played back in October of 2024.
