Basketball Recap: Trinity Catholic Celtics vs. Forest Wildcats

After flying high against Umatilla last Saturday, Trinity Catholic came back down to earth. The Trinity Catholic Celtics took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Wildcats on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Celtics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Wildcats are ranked 81st).

Despite the loss, Trinity Catholic still got an impressive performance from Julian Mendez, who went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points along with five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Serrano, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
