Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-7. They lost 3-0 to the William Blount Governors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered since October 7, 2024.

As for William Blount, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

William Blount was led to victory by Blakely Stewart and Ava Dugan. Stewart had 11 digs and two aces, while Dugan had two aces. That's the most aces Dugan has posted over her last ten matchups.

West has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Alcoa on the 6th. As for William Blount, they will face off against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
