Whitefield Academy barely beat Cornerstone Family the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Saints on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won five in a row.

Whitefield Academy never let Cornerstone Family on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Whitefield Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cornerstone Family, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Coincidentally, Whitefield Academy and Cornerstone Family will both be playing St. Joseph D the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Defenders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
