Soccer Game Preview: Righetti vs. West

The Righetti Warriors will square off against the West Vikings at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. Righetti is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Righetti will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Seaside on Wednesday. Righetti put the hurt on Seaside with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Seaside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevin Jovel, Jose Solorzano, Nery Saguilan, and Daniel Lagunas.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, West was not quite Kennedy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for West, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
