Volleyball Recap: EPIC Academy Takes a Loss

EPIC Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Islamic Foundation Chargers.

EPIC Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22.

EPIC Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Islamic Foundation, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. EPIC Academy will face off against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Legends surely won't give up without a fight. As for Islamic Foundation, they will challenge Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
