Anthony Wayne had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Whitmer on Monday. The Generals were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Panthers. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Anthony Wayne's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.25 runs across that stretch. As for Whitmer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anthony Wayne will take on Southview at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitmer, they will face off against Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
