Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Groveport-Madison). They came out on top against the Bishop Hartley Hawks by a score of 82-75 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cruisers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Hawks are ranked 12th).

Groveport-Madison has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for Bishop Hartley, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Groveport-Madison will square off against Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Hartley, they will welcome St. Francis DeSales at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Hartley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully St. Francis DeSales likes a good challenge.
