Coronado gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Coronado took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-15.

Coronado has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Sand Creek on the 1st. As for Mesa Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Discovery Canyon on the 1st.
