Baseball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lindale Eagles, falling 14-5. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly nine runs.

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lindale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Pilot Point wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-4 defeat against Lindsay on the 24th. Lindale has also already played their next match (against Wills Point), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
