            Softball Recap: Cascade Bruins vs. Mountlake Terrace Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Cascade had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-10  on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Mountlake Terrace Hawks get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The Bruins not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 25th (when they won  17-6).
The result came thanks to  Mia Walker's shutout, as she gave up just two  hits.

 At the plate,  Cienna Cannon was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Tessa Hahn, who  went 1-for-5 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cascade  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
As for Mountlake Terrace, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6. The  game marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.
 On Mountlake Terrace's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jordyn Stokes, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base.
 Looking ahead, Cascade will venture away from home to  take on Lake Stevens  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Mountlake Terrace, they will host Snohomish  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season.
