Volleyball Game Preview: Omaha North Vikings vs. Platteview Trojans

Omaha North hasn't had much luck against Platteview recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Vikings will face off against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m.

Omaha North came up short against Omaha Northwest last Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Platteview had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pioneers. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-21.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Omaha North, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Omaha North couldn't quite get it done against Platteview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
