Basketball Recap: Posen Takes a Loss

Posen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hillman Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-27 on January 3rd.

Posen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hillman, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Posen has already played their next match (against Rogers City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillman will take on Au Gres-Sims at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
