Softball Recap: Spencerville Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Spencerville's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Hardin Northern Polar Bears by a score of 8-5. This was payback for the Bearcats, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Spencerville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Hardin Northern, they moved to 15-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Spencerville will challenge Allen East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hardin Northern, they will take on North Baltimore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
