Softball Recap: Warhill Lions vs. Lafayette Rams
Warhill can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 26-1 margin over the Lafayette Rams. The win was nothing new for Warhill as they're now sitting on four straight.
Skyler Wilson and Ella White made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Wilson tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, White kept things locked down with no earned run or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. At the plate, Wilson scored four runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while White scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Warhill got a massive performance out of Mallory Herspold, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and a double. Callie Moore was another key contributor, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
