Volleyball Recap: Glenelg Country Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glenelg Country had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Mary's Saints 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won four in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Glenelg Country got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-13.

Kennedy Cummins was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 34 digs and three aces. Those 34 digs gave her a new career-high.

Glenelg Country's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for St. Mary's, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As of now, neither Glenelg Country nor the Saints have any future games scheduled.
