Volleyball Game Preview: Presentation Panthers vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders

The Presentation Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Presentation and five for Archbishop Riordan.

On Friday, Presentation came up short against Aptos and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Riordan also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to St. Ignatius College Preparatory by a score of 3-1.

While Archbishop Riordan ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Presentation, their loss dropped their record down to 7-23.

Presentation suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Archbishop Riordan when the teams last played on October 2nd. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
