After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bartlett Yancey, Rockingham County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Walkertown Wolfpack. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Rockingham County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-16.

Rockingham County's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Walkertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockingham County will face off against West Stokes at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Walkertown, they will host McMichael at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
