Baseball Recap: West Bend-Mallard Drops Season-High Score on Northwest Webster

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Bend-Mallard). Everything went their way against the Northwest Webster Cougars on Thursday as they made off with a 10-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their one-run performance the game before.

West Bend-Mallard's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Northwest Webster, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

West Bend-Mallard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Emmetsburg on the 20th. As for Northwest Webster, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-7 loss against Alta-Aurelia on the 20th.
