Lawrence North had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Mooresville Pioneers 80-42. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 25 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Mooresville lost, don't look at Bradley Robbins Jr. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-7 on his way to 12 points. What's more, Robbins Jr also posted an 86% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Michael Irving iii was another key player, putting up seven points.

The victory (which was Lawrence North's eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-6. As for Mooresville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.
