Basketball Recap: Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Find Success

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial won the last time they faced Chaputnguak and things went their way on Friday too. The Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit walked away with a 60-52 win over the Chaputnguak Shaman. The 60-point effort marked the Carayiit's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Chaputnguak's loss came despite strong showings from Felagai Laumea and Trennon Abraham. Laumea posted 19 points, while Abraham earned 16 points. Laumea's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Placid John, who scored seven points.

The victory made it two in a row for Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Chaputnguak, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

As of now, neither Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial nor Chaputnguak have any future games scheduled.
