Basketball Recap: Osseo Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Osseo came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the East Ridge Raptors out 23-21. The win was all the more spectacular given the Orioles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Raptors are ranked 41st).

Osseo's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14. As for East Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osseo will take on Spring Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Ridge, they will challenge Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cretin-Derham Hall will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something East Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
