Kewanee gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over the Rock Falls Rockets. This was payback for the Boilermakers, who suffered a 51-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rock Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kewanee will face off against Mahomet-Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rock Falls, they will take on Bureau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
