Basketball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-39 to the Alma Center Lincoln Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Hornets are ranked 191st).

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Alma Center Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Augusta nor Alma Center Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
