With a playoff win on the line, Fletcher rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They skirted past the Nease Panthers 7-6. That's two games straight that the Senators have won by just one run.

Monike Priebe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Madison Rodriguez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Daria, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Fletcher always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Fletcher and bumps their season record up to 12-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Nease, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
