Volleyball Recap: Jeffersonville Takes a Loss

The Jeffersonville Red Devils came up short against the North Posey Vikings on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Jaylianah Burris and Jenna Kelley, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Riley Dobson and her 11 assists.

North Posey can attribute much of their success to Taryn Wilson, who had nine digs and two assists. That's the most digs Wilson has posted since September 3rd.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for North Posey, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Jeffersonville has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Castle on the 27th. As for North Posey, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Evansville Reitz on the 27th.
