Gering waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Scottsbluff Bearcats by a score of 49-39. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-46 last Saturday.

Gering's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ke?ra Baard, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Baard has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Aubrey Anderson was another key player, going 5 of 7 en route to 12 points and eight boards.

Gering smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.
