Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Vikings vs. Lakota East Thunderhawks

Princeton is 2-8 against Lakota East since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Princeton Vikings will head out to take on the Lakota East Thunderhawks at 7:30 p.m. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Lakota East likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Princeton came up short against Oak Hills and fell 69-57.

Meanwhile, Lakota East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Fairfield.

Lakota East's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Princeton and Lakota East were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but Princeton came up empty-handed after a 56-55 loss. Can Princeton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
