Bear Creek typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Castle View proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Sabercats sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Bear Creek scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 26-28, 25-19.

Rowan Shaughnessy paced Castle View's offense, picking up 16 kills. Shaughnessy got some help from Austin Keathley and his 19 assists. Avery Farrell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Castle View's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Bear Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Castle View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Regis Jesuit on the 29th. As for Bear Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mountain Vista on the 29th.
