Softball Recap: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Gainesville Red Elephants
Meadowcreek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Gainesville Red Elephants, falling 22-7.
Morgan Morgan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-2 with a triple and a run. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Ashley Velazquez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Gainesville, the victory snapped their losing streak at 16 games and leaves them with a 5-19 record.
