Softball Recap: Paxton Falls Short of Northview in the Playoffs

Paxton and Northview squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Paxton had to settle for second. They fell 8-3 to the Chiefs. The Bobcats have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Paxton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Northview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Paxton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northview, they will face off against Jay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
