West Jefferson won the last time they faced Southeastern Local and things went their way on Monday too. The Roughriders were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Trojans. Considering the Roughriders have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

West Jefferson's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Southeastern Local, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, West Jefferson will face off against Greenon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Roughriders are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Southeastern Local, they will take on Mechanicsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
