Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Treutlen Vikings and fell 77-17. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-12.

Montgomery County's loss came despite strong showings from Miracle Nobles and Tamarley Hansley. Nobles posted eight points and nine rebounds, while Hansley put up no points. That was a full 47.1% of Montgomery County's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Montgomery County dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Treutlen, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
