Softball Recap: Bucktail Bucks vs. Muncy Indians
Bucktail made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Muncy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bucks were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Indians on Thursday. The Bucks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Carrie Ditty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

Bucktail's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Muncy, their record is now 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucktail will welcome West Branch at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Muncy, they will host Millville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
