Softball Recap: Lima Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Friendship, Lima Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Franklin Bulldogs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Saints as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lima Christian got a massive performance out of Alyssa Marsh, who went 2-for-4 with six stolen bases and two runs. Marsh has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 13 times she's played. Brielle Hammond was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Lima Christian picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Lima Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-0 loss against Geneseo on the 13th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next game, a 14-9 defeat against School of the Arts on the 14th.
