Orangewood Christian benefitted from Balls in 18-1 win
While Tuesday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Aiden Balls. Orlando Christian Prep had no answer to Balls on Tuesday as he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Balls' strong effort led Orangewood Christian over Orlando Christian Prep and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Orangewood Christian is 4-0 against Orlando Christian Prep going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
