Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield lost against West Orange back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers. While losing is never fun, Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while West Orange are ranked second).

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-4. As for West Orange, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-1.

Bloomfield has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hoboken on the 25th. West Orange has also already played their next contest (against Caldwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
