Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Knightdale). Their defense stepped up to hand the Louisburg Warriors a 6-0 shutout on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Wednesday.

Knightdale hit Louisburg with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis Martinez-Rivera (2), Jose Tolentino (2), Joshua Casiano, and Eh Kaw Kler.

The victory made it two in a row for Knightdale and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two games. As for Louisburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-2 record this season.
