Football Game Preview: Jackson County Generals vs. West Carter Comets

Jackson County is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the West Carter Comets at 7:30 p.m. West Carter took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson County, who comes in off a win.

Jackson County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over Berea on Thursday. The Generals not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 46-14).

Meanwhile, West Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 29-6 to Paintsville.

Jackson County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for West Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
