Meanwhile, Santa Fe Prep came up short against St. Michael's on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Santa Fe Prep was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into St. Michael's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 27-25.

Santa Fe Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for West Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
