Football Game Preview: Plainwell Trojans vs. Niles Vikings + How To Watch

The Plainwell Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Niles Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Plainwell turned things around against Sturgis on Friday. They put the hurt on Sturgis with a sharp 33-7 win. Plainwell not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 20, 2024 (when they won 42-6).

Meanwhile, Niles was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Vicksburg 42-7. With the Vikings ahead 35-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Plainwell's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Niles, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Plainwell was dealt a bruising 56-0 loss at the hands of Niles in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
